GateRocket is looking for driven, self-starter FPGA design engineers to staff up a center of excellence focused on FPGA intellectual property.
Candidates should expect to contribute to development and testing of purpose-built, state of the art FPGA verification products. GateRocket has a rigorous, vibrant, startup company environment and is staffing up engineering to drive the launch of existing and new products. GateRocket is looking for talented, team oriented engineers to participate in developing user-friendly, feature rich products.
Hardware Engineering candidates will be responsible for driving integration of FPGA vendor intellectual property into hardware assisted verification design flows including HDL design, simulation, physical design and debugging with a hardware/software platform. Applicants must have strong background in HDL coding, simulation and FPGA debugging techniques.
Requirements:
- BSCS, MSCS degree preferred
- Minimum of 5-10 years commercial FPGA development experience
- FPGA design experience with high speed memory and bus interfaces (FPGA vendor intellectual property integration)
- Design experience with hard and soft FPGA serdes interfaces
- Strength with HDL coding, synthesis and place and route tools and methodologies
- Verilog and / or VHDL mastery
- Experience with top down spec-driven design and regression environments
- Proven engineering documentation and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and trouble shooting skills
